Joe Biden Doesn’t Remember If He Watched His Own Debate Performance From Last Week

Joe Biden’s ABC News interview with George Stephanopoulos—Bill Clinton’s former communications director and advisor to the Democratic party—airs in a few hours (after being taped and edited, of course), and the network just released the first clip below. In it, Biden says he was having a “bad episode” and was exhausted during last week’s debate, but when asked if he’s gone back to re-watch his performance, Biden says “I don’t think I did.” This is a yes or no question about something that happened seven days ago, but he can’t say if he watched it or not? The preview from the interview:

When Stephanopoulos asks him, “Did you know how badly the debate was going?” take a look at the transcript of what Biden says in response, and try to see if this makes any sense:

Yeah, look. The whole way I prepared, nobody’s fault but mine, I, uhh, I prepared what I usually would do sittin’ down as I did come back with foreign leaders or national security council, for explicit detail, and I realized about part way through that…you know, all the, I get quoted, the New York Times had me down 10 points before the debate, 9 now or whatever the hell it is. The fact of the matter is that, what I looked at is that he also lied 28 times, I couldn’t, I mean, the way the debate ran, not my fault, no one else’s fault.

?????? That’s an incoherent mish-mash of about five different errant thoughts that are all being spoken in incomplete sentences, and none of them answer the question of whether or not Biden realized the debate was going poorly. It’s abundantly clear that he’s mentally gone and has no cognitive skills whatsoever. God help us.

Earlier today at a campaign rally in Wisconsin, Biden said he will “beat Trump again in 2020”:

Finally, the Washington Post reported today that Democratic Senator Mark Warner of Virginia is trying to assemble other Democratic senators to ask Biden to step down. They better hurry the fuck up, via WaPo:

Sen. Mark R. Warner (D-Va.) is attempting to assemble a group of Democratic senators to ask President Biden to exit the presidential race, according to two people with direct knowledge of the effort.

Warner is telling Democratic senators that Biden can no longer remain in the election in the wake of his faltering debate performance, according to the people familiar with private conversations who spoke on the condition of anonymity to speak freely
