Kamala Harris Sits Down With Local News In Philadelphia For First Solo Interview Since Becoming Presidential Nominee
I like that she’s talking to someone who nobody knows (well, except for local news viewers in Philadelphia), so the focus is truly all on her and not the interviewer or the network. Via the ABC News affiliate in Philadelphia, ABC6 Action News, here’s Kamala Harris talking to local reporter Brian Taff a few hours ago:
I was worried she was going to evade answering his questions directly (as all politicians do), but after a couple of minutes, she does lay out specific policies and real plans, and she explains how her ideas are connected to her own personal story.
It’s of course ridiculous that she’s held to one standard (why hasn’t she done any interviews!? what are her policies?!) while her opponent can run around talking about Hannibal Lecter and immigrants eating dogs and not be questioned at all about the fact that he’s literally psychotic. What are his specific plans to fix the economy? He’s going to deport 30 million people (who don’t exist) who are stealing geese from a pond in Ohio. Then, he’ll stop letting prisons give sex change operations to illegal aliens. Those are his specific plans. The media and American public at large are so conditioned to expect complete nonsense from him, everyone is collectively numb and has normalized batshit insanity.
