LAPD Shoots Wife Of Weezer Bassist And Accuses Her Of Attempted Murder For Defending Herself Against Hit-And-Run Suspects
Leave it to the LAPD to make a dangerous situation even worse. Earlier this week, they nearly killed an innocent woman who was protecting her home from suspects fleeing a hit-and-run, but now that woman has been charged with attempted murder. Cops claim the woman didn’t lower her weapon when asked, but that’s probably bullshit, given this is the insanely corrupt LAPD. Anytime a media report like the one below, via ABC, says something like, “Police say…” I have to remind myself that what they’re “saying” is likely a complete lie.
The only good news is that the great Weezer will still play Coachella this weekend. The reporter above calls them a 90’s band, but the overwhelming bulk of their work has been over the last 20 years, with Grammy wins/noms as recently as 2022.
