Following news of his tragic death this week, Lane Rogers is being remembered today by his friends, co-stars, and fans both for his monumental work in the adult industry and his kindness as a human being who touched so many lives. From his closest friends to people who had never met him, Lane’s warmth and authenticity lives forever, and perhaps this tweet from performer Evan Jordie is most reflective of that:

I’ve lost a lot this year even before today, and it’s surreal to have one wave of grief after another crashing down around you. I wasn’t close with Lane like Leo or Joey or Liam was, but we checked in with each other enough every few months so that his comforting insightful challenging crazy loving loyal presence was always felt. Blake Mitchell was literally the “main character” of Str8UpGayPorn for a decade, and Lane Rogers will be with me forever.
