Somewhat unrelated: Awards are probably the last thing on the Presley family’s mind right now, but the more attention this story gets and the messier it becomes, I wonder if Academy members will shy away from voting for Austin Butler or the Elvis biopic at the Oscars? Or, maybe all the drama will make people more likely to vote for Butler?
