Live Stream Of Kamala Harris (And Beyoncé?) At The Democratic National Convention
The live stream for tonight’s big finale at the DNC is above, and Kamala Harris will be giving her much anticipated speech accepting the nomination as the Democratic candidate for President shortly after 10:00pm ET. Before that, the rumor that’s been swirling all week is that Beyoncé will be making an appearance, although now I’ve also seen people saying that Taylor Swift is there in Chicago, too. This is, obviously, the most important speech of Harris’s life, and the historic nature of this moment can’t be overstated, so I hope it goes well. A new poll shows Harris with a 6-point lead over Trump, so could the post-convention bounce move that up to 10 points?
ADDED: It’s strange that everyone was talking about a “special guest” appearing tonight, but there was obviously no such thing. Harris is wrapping up her speech now, and it’s been good. She sounds strong and polished and there have been no flubs, but it’s a fairly by-the-numbers campaign speech.
