Madonna Finally Reissuing Bedtime Stories And EP With New Songs
This was teased a long time ago, and now we finally have a reissue release date for Madonna’s greatest album of all time, Bedtime Stories. Plus, there’s also going to be an EP with new songs that were recorded, but never released, during the same era (my favorite Madonna era) in the early 90’s. Both the reissue and the EP with eight songs are coming on November 28th, via Billboard:
After teasing a possible trip back in time to one of her most underrated eras earlier this year, Madonna confirmed on Thursday that she is gearing up to tell some more Bedtime Stories. According to a release, the singer will drop the eight-track Bedtime Stores — The Untold Chapter EP on Nov 28. The 30th anniversary homage to the singer’s R&B-flavored sixth album, will revisit the 1994 collection in which she took a softer approach to love following the sexual dynamite of her previous album, Erotica. The singer worked with producer Stuart Price (Confessions on a Dance Floor) on editing and mixing the new version for the EP to create a “cohesive new chapter.”
Tracks on the EP include four remixes of songs that were already on Bedtime Stories, and four new songs I’ve never heard before:
“Survival” – Quiet Storm Demo Remix
“Secret” – Allstar New Single Mix
“Right On Time” – Original Demo Edit (previously unreleased)
“Don’t Stop” – Original Demo Edit
“Freedom” – Short Mix (previously unreleased)
“Human Nature” – Howie Tee New Clean Edit
“Let Down Your Guard” – Rough Single Mix (previously unreleased)
“Love Won’t Wait” – Original Demo Edit (previously unreleased)
Here’s the new song called “Right On Time” that’ll be on the EP:
Cute, but not even three minutes long, so it’s obvious she didn’t care enough about it to include it on Bedtime Stories.
And here’s the previously unreleased “Love Won’t Wait,” which is really cheesy, but I love her voice and the different registers she hits:
