Madonna Tells People On Instagram That She’s Officially Canceled Her North American Tour
After Madonna was seen out in NYC over the weekend following her alleged bacterial infection and intubation in the ICU, the “Killers Who Are Partying” singer took to Instagram today to finally let fans know that all of her North American shows have been canceled.
As seen in her post above, Madonna claims “the current plan is to reschedule” shows in the United States and Canada, but she didn’t say when they’d be rescheduled. If the European shows do in fact proceed, they’re set to run from mid-October through December, so the earliest the rescheduled North American shows could begin would be in February. That’s because she already had a second leg of North American shows that were set to begin in mid-December, and these are (were?) set to run through the end of January. It’s not clear by the Instagram post (an Instagram post is the official way people are being notified about how they might be losing thousands of dollars?) if she meant both legs of the North American tour would be rescheduled, or just the first part ahead of Europe. In short, there are still tons of questions and no answers from the “Unapologetic Bitch” singer.
