Madonna’s Daughter Lola Releases First Music Video For New Single “Lock & Key”
Move over Dakota Payne! It’s time for another debut music video from an unexpected new singer: Lourdes Leon, a.k.a. Lola, a.k.a. Madonna’s daughter. The fashion model turned singer is actually using the stage name Lolahol for her music career, and her first single is titled “Lock & Key.” I can’t decipher much of what she’s singing about (listen for yourself below), but some of it is catchy, her voice is fine, the outfits are cute, and her cholo boyfriend in the cemetery is hot. Also, when she’s on the beach near the end, am I getting an homage to mom’s “Cherish”?
Comparing “Lock & Key” to “Cherish” would probably have Herb Ritts rolling over in his grave, but they’re both so beautiful:
