Man Has 50-Hour Face Transplant Surgery After Attempting To Commit Suicide By Shooting Himself In The Head With A Shotgun
With my luck, this is totally the kind of thing that would happen to me if I ever tried to kill myself. Thankfully, this guy had the support and resources (and presumably a lot of mental health care) to turn things around and get a new face after shooting the first one off, and seeing the brief interview with him near the end of the clip above, via Inside Edition, is really inspiring. It’s not clear if he stayed under anesthesia for the full 50 hours(!?), but those surgeons are incredible.
