Manhattan D.A. “Likely” Filing Criminal Charges Against Trump For Stormy Daniels Hush Money Payments

Four different sources have told the New York Times that the Manhattan D.A. is going to indict Donald Trump for paying off Stormy Daniels in 2016, in violation of campaign finance laws. As you’ll recall, Trump made hush money payments to Stormy in order to keep her from talking about the sexual affair they had in 2006, when Melania Trump was pregnant with Barron Trump. Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen already went to prison after pleading guilty to arranging the hush money payments, and he served a three-year term that ended in 2020. Via MSNBC:
