Nevada Republican Convicted Of Wire Fraud After Stealing Money From Dead Police Officer Memorial
Another MAGA whore down! This one called herself Michele Fiore (that’s a pic from her 2016 “gun calendar” above), and she had been serving as a justice of the peace in a shithole Nevada county after being appointed in 2022. She was suspended in July of this year after being indicted by a grand jury for wire fraud and conspiracy, and last week she was convicted on all seven counts.
Fiore swindled about $70,000 from people who thought they were donating to a charity that was building a statue of Alyn Beck, a 41-year-old Las Vegas police officer who was shot to death in 2014. Instead, Fiore laundered all of the donated money through front companies and relatives, and then spent it on personal expenses, including paying for her daughter’s wedding. Fiore will be sentenced on January 6th, 2025, and she faces 140 years in prison—20 years for each of the seven counts.
Fiore was an early supporter of Donald Trump (who probably gave her the idea to launder the charity money), and she served on the Nevada assembly as well as the Las Vegas city council before being appointed to the justice of the peace position. She briefly ran for governor in 2022 before dropping out, and here was her campaign ad:
