NYPD Releases New Images Of Alleged CEO Assassin, Bullet Shell Casings Had “Deny, Defend, Depose” Written On Them
The images with the shooter’s face more visible are from videos recorded at a hostel where he apparently stayed earlier this week, and while he had no backback in the cute pic above, many are pointing out that he has on a black backpack in the image below.
That’s obviously a black backpack strap above, but when he took out the CEO yesterday morning, he had on a grey backpack:
And when he was in the Starbucks yesterday before the shooting, he had that same grey backpack.
The difference in backpacks doesn’t really mean anything at all (hello, a trained hitman can wear different backpacks on different days), but conspiracy theorists are using this to say that the person with his face showing is not the shooter. I have no idea if it’s a different person, but what I do know is that he appears to be hot. I’m getting Jake Gyllenhaal Nightcrawler vibes, which kind of makes sense, given he’s a murderous sociopath (I mean that in a good way! please don’t take me out next). Do you see it?
In other news, police say there were words written on three of the bullet shell casings found at the scene of the crime, and those words were “deny,” “defend,” and “depose.” That’s a slight variation on the phrase that ghoulish insurance companies and attorneys use when they’re denying a patient’s claim, and it was the title of a 2010 book that was highly critical of the “healthcare” industry: Delay, Deny, Defend.
