Oklahoma Sex Offender Murders Wife And Five Children Before Killing Himself
Seven bodies were found on the property in rural Henryetta, Oklahoma after a convicted sex offender shot and killed his wife, her three children, two of their friends, and then himself. As the report above explains, the murderer, Jesse McFadden, had been released from prison in 2020 after serving 16 years of a 20-year prison sentence for rape, but he was due back in court on new child porn charges this week. Those new charges were actually filed in 2017 while he was still in prison for the rape conviction, and he’d been charged for receiving child porn while incarcerated. Only in America can imprisoned sex offenders access the internet and commit more sex crimes. Also, it’s crazy to think that it took six years for him to be brought to trial, which obviously isn’t happening now. Via Independent:
McFadden was convicted in 2003 for first-degree rape, and served nearly 16 years before being released in 2020, according to Oklahoma prison records. On Monday, he was due to appear in court for the start of his jury trial on charges of soliciting sexual conduct with a minor and possession of child pornography. The charges were filed back in 2017 when he was still in prison for his rape conviction.
