Pennsylvania Pastor Facing Attempted Statutory Sexual Assault Charges
Today in priests who are rapists:
Father Gregory F. Loughney, a pastor from Most Holy Trinity Parish in Cresco, Monroe County, was arrested Saturday by members of the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department. He faces four criminal charges all connected to alleged inappropriate contact with a minor.
In wake of yet another embarrassment, the Scranton Diocese released a statement that read in part: “Learning the details of the behavior with which Father Loughney has been charged is extremely upsetting. In no way is this alleged behavior to be tolerated in the life and ministry of a priest.”
And yet, it’s been tolerated for centuries by these sick freaks in the Catholic church, a literal breeding ground and safe haven for child rapists.
