Police Searching For Serial Arsonist In Long Beach, California
Belmont Shore used to be considered a very nice part of Long Beach, if not the nicest and most upscale part. I drove through there over the holidays for the first time in several years and noticed several run down or vacated businesses and restaurants on what used to be a bustling and high-end retail area on 2nd Street, which is now littered with people suffering mental health issues and/or homelessness, just randomly wandering around various corners. There were always a handful of these folks back when I lived there in the 2010’s, but now there are dozens. Maybe the arsonist seen in the report below was one of them?
