Poll Finds Majority Of Americans Oppose Bans On Drag Shows And Trans Health Care
The deranged MAGA ghouls have never cared about reality, and the reality is, the majority of Americans are opposed to these psychotic bigots’ anti-drag and anti-trans laws currently being passed in state legislatures around the country. Without getting too optimistic, these freaks may be in for a rude awakening when they’re voted out of office by all the sane Americans going to the polls in 2024. We already saw what happened with that flop of a “red wave” that never happened in 2022. Fingers crossed. Via NPR:
A majority, 54%, still oppose criminalizing [gender transition-related medical care], including 56% of independents.
What’s more, a majority of respondents said they oppose laws that would restrict drag shows or performances in their states. Earlier this month, Tennessee passed a bill to do just that, while in more than a dozen other states, there are GOP efforts afoot to do the same. But the majority is not on their side — 58% oppose such laws.
