Rabid Kitten Turns New York School Upside Down, Prompting Mass Vaccinations
I know you can’t vaccinate kittens or puppies until they’re about four months old, so it’s sad that this one, who came in as a stray, never really stood a chance. Other cats who had been in contact with the rabid one were later cared for at an elementary school (I never got to take care of cats or dogs when I was in elementary school—what the hell?), and now all the kids have to get a bunch of rabies vaccinations.
