GOP Senator Tim Sheehy Crushes Marine Sergeant's Hand In Door Hinge During Violent Committee Hearing
At a Senate Armed Services committee hearing today in D.C., Marine Corps veteran and Green Party candidate for Senate in North Carolina Brian McGinnis stood to protest the illegal war in Iran and U.S. soldiers dying for Israel, but he was almost instantly tackled by Capitol Police and thrown out. Sitting Republican U.S. Senator from Montana Tim Sheehy joins the fight at about :45 seconds in the below clip (he’s in the suit), and he can be seen pushing on McGinnis’s hand as its wedged inside a door hinge. Bystanders claim that Sheehy broke the Marine’s arm, but it’s not immediately clear what kind of medical treatment he received following the incident this afternoon.
