This story has been updated below.

Following Str8Up’s report last month on gay porn star Roman Todd being charged with multiple felonies for assaulting his girlfriend in Las Vegas, Nevada, we now have new court filings showing that Todd has been placed on “high level electronic monitoring” as a condition of bail, and he’s been ordered to have no contact with the girlfriend he’s accused of beating and strangling.

Click to enlarge the updated docket below, which shows the two felonies and one misdemeanor charge, the no contact order, the electronic monitoring, a court appointed defense attorney named Joseph Gersten, and the next status check on February 20th. If the case goes to trial and Todd is convicted, he faces up to eight years in prison.

Assuming he’s still currently filming content in Las Vegas, maybe we’ll see Roman Todd wearing an electronic ankle bracelet in his next scene?

UPDATE:

Just a brief update to the docket after today’s status check in Las Vegas. As you can see below, there’s a new defense attorney (J. Siegel), the “no early offer” was extended (this means the prosecutor is not planning on offering a plea deal), and Roman Todd has pleaded not guilty. Also, it appears that Todd’s electronic monitoring system is fully in place (PCU stands for “personal communications unit”). Finally, “Pretrial Level IV” is a release condition for people who are at a lower risk of pretrial success, so authorities will likely be watching Todd very closely as the case proceeds. A preliminary hearing is set for March 6th.
