Ryan Rose Hospitalized With ‘Broken Dick’ After Using Erectile Dysfunction Drug Trimix [Graphic Photo]
Back in late January, gay porn star Ryan Rose shared that he was hospitalized in Florida for unknown reasons, and he posted the below photo and tweet asking followers to not “blow up [his] phone,” and to share any good jokes they might have:
Rose was hospitalized for at least four days during the last week of January, but he did have his boyfriend there to keep him company, as seen below:
At the time, Ryan Rose did not disclose why he had been hospitalized, but he was released sometime between January 30th and February 7th, because on February 8th, he shared the below video to promote his live appearance at the Parliament House in Florida, where he appears to have made a full recovery:

Now, late last night, Ryan Rose took to Twitter once again to reveal why he was hospitalized in January, and the reason was due to his use of an erectile dysfunction drug called Trimix.
“The reason why I was in the hospital was [because] I broke my dick using [Trimix],” Rose wrote, and you can see a portion of the tweet and accompanying photo here:

Before the photo, here’s what Trimix is, for those who don’t know:
Trimix is an injectable three-drug prescribed medication used to treat erectile dysfunction. The active ingredients in the mixture are usually alprostadil, papaverine, and phentolamine. The injection must be compounded by a pharmacy and administered via intracavernosal injection (an injection at either side, not the base, of the penis). Trimix is typically compounded by a pharmacy in a sterile environment and then frozen. The compound is stable for up to six months while stored frozen and for one month if stored refrigerated beginning at the time of manufacture.
Trimix injuries and side effects (in which the penis can remain erect for hours—if not days—on end) are common and can cause severe, permanent damage to the penis. There have been many instances of clinics and doctors being sued and/or shut down for botched injections over the years, and one gay man almost died last summer after using Trimix without a prescription. In 2016, straight porn star Rico Strong famously shared his own graphic photos following a Trimix injection gone horribly (and I mean horribly) wrong. Long story short, I would rather vote for Donald Trump than stick a needle in my penis and inject it with anything (let alone drugs), but Trimix is still regularly used by adult performers (primarily tops, obviously) who need to remain erect during shoots lasting several hours.
It’s not clear if Ryan Rose was filming during his Trimix injury (I’ve reached out to him for comment and will update this story if he responds), but given his hospitalization in Florida, it doesn’t sound like his injury occurred on set (Rose’s studio, Falcon Studios, shoots in Las Vegas). That’s good news for Falcon, considering the studio was already sued in 2012 by a production assistant who pricked his finger on a needle while giving a gay porn star a Trimix injection.
Here’s the photo that Ryan Rose shared of his penis, which appears to show two puncture wounds on each side of the head of his penis (perhaps one of them was to drain blood?), and some sort of surgical dressing, medicine, or other material coming out of both holes. The black mark could be due to a blood flow issue or injury during the initial Trimix injection:
Rose’s penis is hopefully on the mend so he can return to filming (not to mention having sex in his personal life) soon. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
