The Bear They Caught Last Week Is Now On The Run Near San Bernardino
The bear they caught last week had been brought up to the San Gabriel mountains, but now she’s back in a residential neighborhood called Muscoy (about 30 miles away from up on the mountain where she had been dropped off). I guess the main the question is, what is continuing to drive these animals out of wilderness areas where they’re supposed to be comfortable? There’s sad news at the end of the report below about the bear possibly being hit by a car on the freeway. Just how inept are our local wildlife officials? Via KTLA:
