The Best VP Pick For Kamala Harris Is Minnesota Governor Tim Walz
I’ve seen interviews with several of the guys on the shortlist, and Tim Walz is my pick to be Kamala Harris’s VP. Watch the interview above, and you’ll see he’s the best communicator and the most natural in terms of his overall delivery and demeanor. Plus, he comes from Minnesota, which is right next door to WI and MI, where the election will be decided.
I’ve watched clips of PA’s Josh Shapiro and KY’s Andy Beshear, and both of them come off as way too scripted and, in the case of Beshear, kind of dead inside. The clip below is almost cringe-inducing (the joke about “convictions”…groan), and he reminds of me of Kenneth from 30 Rock.
‘The problem with J.D. Vance is he has no conviction, but I guess his running mate has 34’ — Kentucky Gov. Beshear really went there pic.twitter.com/CVRsBTj2NJ

I don’t think Beshear really stood a chance anyway, thankfully. So, the best hope is probably Tim Walz, who at 60 is just one year older than Harris. He’s quick, he’s sane, he’s friendly (I picture him being the nicest neighbor ever), and he has no problem taking on the idiots at Fox News:
.@Tim_Walz: It doesn’t matter convictions, it doesn’t matter failed policies, the Republican Party stuck with Donald Trump. He’s yours. You’ve got him pic.twitter.com/rfu4F3LnBb
