Thieves Steal Nearly $250,000 Worth Of Watches From Newport Beach Jeweler
Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like there was anything anyone could’ve done to stop these thieves. The jewelry store even had that caged entry thing to prevent smash-and-grabs exactly like this, but they still got in. I guess they could’ve been stopped if there were an armed guard inside the store who could shoot them all in their heads, but maybe that kind of security is too expensive? Hopefully the maskless man who let the accomplices in can be identified.
