Today In Christian Youth Pastors Who Plead Guilty To Raping Multiple Children
Do you know of any priest, pastor, or religious leader who hasn’t sexually abused a child? I do not. The latest Christian youth pastor to plead guilty to multiple child sex crimes, via WRIC in Virginia:
David Lawrence Schneider was originally charged with 19 felony counts related to child sex crimes during an investigation announced by the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office in August of last year. According to court documents, Schneider pleaded guilty to the following charges in a motion hearing on Monday, March 24 — one charge of aggravated sexual battery and two charges of taking indecent liberties with a child by a person in a custodial role.
Because he took a plea, 16 of the 19 counts were dismissed. He’ll be sentenced on July 14th.
