Trailer For Yet Another ‘Alien’ Movie, Alien: Romulus
Did anyone ask for this? Not me. But, as we all know, the entire entertainment industry is completely dead and has been out of original ideas for most of the century. A teaser trailer for this summer’s Alien: Romulus is above, and here’s a brief description:
Alien: Romulus is an upcoming American science fiction horror film and the seventh installment in the series but counting crossovers the ninth film in the overall Alien franchise, a standalone interquel set between the events of Alien (1979) and Aliens (1986). Set between the events of Alien (1979) and Aliens (1986), the story sees “a group of young people on a distant world, who find themselves in a confrontation with the most terrifying life form in the universe.”
For what it’s worth, I of course loved the original Alien and the 2012 sequel (which was actually a prequel), Prometheus. My ranking of the movies in the franchise (not counting the absurd Predator crossovers):
Alien: A+
Aliens: A-
Alien 3: C-
Alien Resurrection: C
Prometheus: A
Alien Covenant: D
