Trump Falls Asleep During First Day Of Hush Money Trial
The first criminal trial of a former U.S. president began today in New York City for disgraced megalomaniac and dementia-ridden serial rapist Donald Trump, who appeared to fall asleep during jury selection this morning. In the video below, New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman describes seeing the white nationalist—who’s facing 34 felony charges for paying hush money to porn star Stormy Daniels over their 2006 affair, when Trump’s current mail-order bride was pregnant with his now 18-year-old spawn Barron Trump—falling asleep with his mouth open throughout today’s proceedings:
Haberman: Trump appeared to be asleep. His head would fall down… He didn’t pay attention to a note his lawyer passed him. His jaw kept falling on his chest and his mouth kept going slack. pic.twitter.com/Y9niQfZc3W

In terms of what actually happened today during day one of the trial, the first batch of 96 prospective jury members were sworn in, but at least 50 were excused when they admitted they couldn’t be fair and impartial in judging Trump. I’m surprised so many people were that honest, but all of them were presumably Democrats, given this was in NYC. If there were any Trump supporters or Republicans being questioned, you know they would just lie and say they could be fair. Another 100 or so potential jurists will be brought in tomorrow, and the entire jury selection process is expected to drag on for at least 10 days.
