Why Did Raging/Falcon’s Nick Foxx Pull Hot House’s “Shake It Off” Video?
Hopefully you saw it Friday when I first posted it, because it’s gone now. Hot House director Christian Owen shot a funny, somewhat sexy (if not kind of goofy) video featuring several gay porn stars dancing—and poorly lip syncing—to Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off.” It was posted Friday night to Raging/Falcon director Nick Foxx’s YouTube channel (he edited the final cut of the video) and stayed up for the entire weekend, but by Monday afternoon, it was pulled down.
What’s strange is that YouTube didn’t pull the video down—Nick Foxx himself pulled it down by setting the video to private. Why?
The other strange thing? Hot House Studios, Raging/Falcon director Nick Foxx, Hot House director Christian Owen, and Hot House gay porn star Jimmy Durano aren’t saying a word about the video’s disappearance, no matter how many times I ask them for an explanation. (And in case you didn’t know, Foxx, Owen, Durano, Hot House, and Raging/Falcon are all part of the same gay porn conglomerate, Falcon Studios Group).
Still haven’t received a response: What happened to “Shake It Off”? Hello? @JimmyDurano @christianowen1 ??? @HotHouseXXX ???

@nickxfoxx @HotHouseXXX @christianowen1 Why is the “Shake It Off” video gone? — STR8UPGAYPORN! (@Str8UpGayPorn) January 6, 2015
It’s weird, considering they were promoting it relentlessly all weekend long, right??
It’s time to #SkakeOff #2014 and get ready for #2015 with the #Men of @HotHouseXXX https://t.co/0SREp23AvI

Since its release Friday night, the Hot House “Shake It Off” video has appeared on all the major gay porn blogs, including Str8Up, QueerMeNow, QueerClick, and GayDemon. Even The Sword managed to post it by Monday morning. By Monday afternoon, it went viral and was posted to so-called “mainstream” sites like Queerty. All in all, it was great publicity for the studio, not to mention all the guys in the video. But, hours later, Nick Foxx set the clip to private and it was gone.
Don’t we deserve to know why?
