Yes, It’s True, You Are A Human!
Congratulations! If you’re reading this, it means you are a human being. I’m sure some of you may have wondered about this from time to time.
Beginning today, a verification page (as seen above) may flash on your screen for 3-5 seconds before Str8UpGayPorn loads to prove that you’re a real life human being, as opposed to a bot. This is a security feature we’ve implemented to block the criminal DDoS attacks that occurred here on February 16th and March 1st. So, if you see the “verifying you are human” page for a few seconds when loading Str8Up, don’t worry, nothing’s wrong with your browser or your device. (Something might still be wrong with you personally, but that’s nothing new and has nothing to do with Str8Up.)
Our hosting company notified me about a third attempted attack today, but it was thankfully unsuccessful because of the enhanced security. I love that the person doing this is wasting more time, effort, and money to accomplish…absolutely nothing. If anything, it makes me feel a little bit special to know that someone cares so much, and given the news value of the criminal attacks and the attention they’ve drawn to the site, our traffic has actually grown a bit over the last month.
