Perpetually Naked Steve Grand Accuses Str8UpGayPorn Of Slander For Posting His Nude Photos
Earlier this week, Steve Grand—who became famous after he appeared nude in a music video with a gay porn star—took to Twitter to complain about gay media reporting on his multiple nude or partially nude appearances over the past two years, writing:
It would be nice if any other aspect of my life/work as an artist/advocate got a fraction of the press I get for wearing a bathing suit by gay media.
Steve Grand’s complaints would be not unlike similar complaints from other artists like Nick Jonas, Justin Bieber, Zac Efron, Ricky Martin, everyone from One Direction, Adam Levine, Matt Bomer, Chris Pratt, Ryan Gosling, Ryan Reynolds, and Channing Tatum—had any of them ever actually complained about being objectified by gay media, which they have not.
Steve Grand—who before becoming someone who calls himself a singer was a nude and partially nude underwear model who appeared on magazine covers without wearing clothes—responded to Str8UpGayPorn’s coverage of his complaint by comparing himself to Justin Bieber, who, unlike Steve Grand, has sold over 25 million albums worldwide. (But, the only times Str8UpGayPorn has mentioned Justin Bieber has been when he’s appeared nude or partially nude, so in that respect, Steve Grand and Justin Bieber are in fact comparable.)
Steve Grand, who it appears does not have a publicist, continued:
That tweet is partially true, as Steve Grand does appear shirtless in both his “American Boy” and “Stay” videos.
But, Steve Grand forgot to mention the fact that he also appeared fully nude in his first video:
Steve Grand also forgot to mention that he appeared fully nude in his 2014 “ALC Ice Bucket Challenge” video, which he titled, “My Naked Lake Superior Plunge.”
To promote the ALS video (and, presumably, the charity?) last September, Steve Grand shared this naked photograph of himself, in which he appears fully nude, save for the strategic placement of a towel:
Steve Grand also forgot to mention the time two months ago when he appeared shirtless in a YouTube video with Davey Wavey (which might be understandable, as appearing in a Davey Wavey video is something that anyone would rather forget):
Frequently nude Steve Grand also claimed that he has appeared shirtless in only 1% of his Instagram photos. Here is one of those photos from last month, which makes up part of that 1%:
Steve Grand continued to clarify his complaint by accusing Str8UpGayPorn of slandering him by re-posting the nude and partially nude photos and videos in which Steve Grand was paid to appear:
Steve Grand’s entire body of work as an artist consists predominantly of Steve Grand appearing shirtless, nude, or partially nude, which, to be sure, has never been looked down upon by Str8UpGayPorn.
Str8UpGayPorn is all about building hot naked men up, not tearing them down. So with that said, please stay naked, Steve Grand. You look hot.
