[UPDATED] Austin Wolf To Spend Holidays In Jail As Judge Grants FIFTH Continuance In Child Porn Case
Fifth time’s the charm?! As noted in the previous update below, I’ll be copying/pasting what I reported last month (see below), because once again, the Department of Justice and Austin Wolf’s defense attorneys have agreed to yet another continuance as both sides work to close the child porn case against Wolf without a trial or an indictment.
The former gay porn star was arrested in June for possession and distribution of child pornography, and he’s now going on nearly six months behind bars without being indicted and obviously without any trial or pre-trial dates set as his lawyers work, presumably, on a plea deal. Wolf will be spending Thanksgiving and, unless there’s a miracle, Christmas in the notoriously inhumane and deadly MDC in Brooklyn, which is also the current home of fellow inmate P. Diddy.
Here below are the latest filings announcing and granting the fifth continuance, with the AUSA once again stating that he “personally corresponded with defense counsel, who stated that the defendant consents to an extension.” Whatever dirt Wolf has, it must be highly valuable.

Previous update reporting on the fourth continuance last month, as published on October 24th:
I guess I should just start copying/pasting the original article reporting on the first continuance (or the second and third continuances!) and schedule a new one to go live during the last week of every month, because here we go again.
For the fourth time in as many months, the Department of Justice and gay porn star Austin Wolf have agreed to a continuance for 30 more days while lawyers on both sides work to close the child porn case against Wolf without a trial and without an indictment. Wolf, as you’ll recall, was charged by complaint back in June for child porn possession and distribution, but there’s been no grand jury indictment, which is required to proceed with the case. In the new motions today, the AUSA wrote that Wolf once again agreed to the continuance, and the filings from the judge and the AUSA are here:

As I’ve noted repeatedly, working towards a disposition of the case has to mean that there’s some kind of plea deal negotiation going on, and the information that Wolf has on others must be significant, otherwise neither side would see a deal as being worth it.
Wolf continues to be locked up in the heinous MDC (along with P. Diddy), and I ask again if there are any lawyers reading this: Is it typical for plea negotiations to go on for over four months while a defendant remains behind bars without being formally charged by indictment? Remember, the trial can’t start until the grand jury indictment is filed, and you have to wonder why in the world the DOJ arrested Wolf without having that indictment ready to go. Did they ever plan on getting one, or was this the plan all along?
