Some on social media are spreading the conspiracy theory that Ivana Trump was murdered by Donald Trump so prosecutors couldn’t depose her (and her children) in the ongoing financial fraud case against him in New York. While I enjoy the theory and there’s obviously no question that Trump would have someone murdered if he could (hello, he literally sent thousands of armed white supremacists, including gay-for-pay porn star Sergeant Miles, to the Capitol on Jan. 6 so they could hang Mike Pence and kill Nancy Pelosi), I don’t think this theory is true. Trump is ignorant in many regards, but he’s probably not stupid enough to commit a murder like this when he’s already under a microscope in New York. Via NewsNation:
