WATCH: Before Gay Porn, Chris Damned Was A “Man Servant” Who Helped Women Get Over Their Ex-Boyfriends
Chris Damned is everywhere you look these days, but what was he doing five years ago, before he became one of gay porn’s most popular and prolific stars? Back in 2016, Chris was working with a company called “Man Servants,” providing companionship to women in southern California. Recently, the below short film from Vice‘s Broadly channel popped up for me on YouTube as a recommended video (YouTube knows me too well, apparently), and it’s a documentary about the services Man Servants provides, as well as some of the men who provide those services. One of those men was Chris Damned, who’s featured prominently in the video.
“Women should always be able to feel safe around a man regardless of the man’s sexual preferences, and I think I did a great job during my time with Man Servants,” Chris tell Str8Up. In other words, despite not being straight, Chris was still able to excel at his job comforting and supporting women (and with his face and his accent, how could he not?).
Chris appears briefly at the beginning of the video, and then at the 7-minute mark, he’s interviewed before visiting a newly-single woman:
None of the ladies were obviously able to enjoy Chris the way his scene partners do today, as Man Servants is not an escort service, and the company’s rules specifically state that sexual contact is forbidden. “My job was to stay professional and respectful,” Chris explains.
