“Love Happens” is the first new movie from CockyBoys and director Jake Jaxson since 2020’s award-winning “Hollywood And Vine,” and in this debut episode out today, we meet some of the main characters (played by Brock Banks, Austin Avery, and Max Adonis), along with the stars of the first sex scene: Drew Dixon, Roman Todd, and Dallas Preston. LOVE HAPPENS, the first feature in almost two years from multi ‘Best Director’ award-winner Jake Jaxson debuts only on CockyBoys. LOVE HAPPENS is a tongue-in-cheek, post pandemic feature about a “mindfulness coach” and “influencer” who is hoping to take advantage of the post-Covid desire to get back to normal by organizing a sexual awakening retreat, and ends up inadvertently hiring two very unconventional stoner/radical fairies to run the weekend, blowing up his perfect little reality. Somehow he still ends up helping the sexy couples at the retreat, resulting in plenty of amazing gay sex, and the post-pandemic porn comedy you never knew you wanted but needed!
First to arrive are pretentious, seemingly platonic buds Dallas Preston & Drew Dixon, ill-prepared for the retreat and its rules. Unfortunately (or fortunately) for them, Roman Todd is there to put them in their place…
And by “put them in their place,” that of course means poolside sucking and fucking.
Here’s an extended look at the first 22 minutes of this first episode (watch full episode here), and while all of these characters are mostly cringe-inducing, that’s obviously the point. Jake Jaxson’s script—which includes dialogue from Dallas Preston and Drew Dixon about being “waxed and vaxed” at the same place—is pitch perfect, and the stars’ portrayals of these influencers and party gays are insufferably spot-on. Throw in dream hunk Roman Todd, and this first episode has something for everyone:
