WTF? Cybersocket’s 7 Biggest Fuck-Ups
There’s always something to complain about after any group’s award nominations are announced, and yesterday’s Cybersocket Awards nominations are no exception. Here are the 7 biggest “WTF?” moments from this year’s nominees. (Full list.)
Best Newcomer Snubs
WTF #1: Colt Rivers. Maybe it’s because he’s not an exclusive with a studio that buys Cybersocket ads, but Colt Rivers’ absence from the Best Newcomer category might be the biggest mistake and hugest WTF in Cybersocket history. Rivers has powerbottomed his way into our hearts and made scene partners spontaneously cum throughout 2013-2014, and he’s done it all at virtually every studio you can think of (Sean Cody, Men.com, Falcon, NextDoor, ManRoyale, etc.). An epic embarrassment for Cybersocket that they can’t possibly live down (unless they add Rivers’ name to the nomination list).
WTF #2: Leo Sweetwood. While not as prolific as Rivers, Sweetwood has still been everywhere in 2014 via social media, live appearances, and interviews. His personality, his award-worthy ass, and his projectile cum shot should have earned him a nom, and Cybersocket should be ashamed of themselves for not giving him one.
WTF #3: Dylan Knight. His cock alone could have received a nomination for Best Newcomer, but Cybersocket missed the boat on that, too. How could Cybersocket leave off Dylan Knight in favor of people you’ve never heard of like Mark Sanz(?), Rex Blue(??), Lyle Boyce(???), and Hans Wunderkind(???)? Beats me.
Best Porn Star Snubs
WTF #4: Paddy O’Brian. Whether you like this gay-for-payer or not, you can’t deny Paddy’s impact over the past few years. Not only did he make his bottoming debut last year, he went on to get gangbanged by four giant cocks! Maybe Cybersocket is holding a grudge against Paddy because he never sucks dick?
WTF #5: Colby Keller. Easily the most well-known and well-liked gay porn star working today, Colby has crossed over into mainstream circles and become an icon for gay hipsters and hardcore gay porn fans alike. He’s fucked just about everyone there is to fuck in gay porn, and has worked for the biggest studios today (note his cum guzzling scene with Jarec Wentworth for Randy Blue, above). WTF is Cybersocket thinking?
WTF #6: Austin Wilde. Not only did Austin start his own gay porn studio last year, he started a gay porn studio that’s actually been successful. As an immensely popular performer, director, and producer, this might be one of the biggest oversights Cybersocket has ever made. Adding insult to injury: Austin’s studio (GuysInSweatpants) wasn’t nominated in the Best Video Site category. Is Cybersocket paying attention to what’s really going on in gay porn?
WTF #7: Tommy Defendi. Again, another A-list performer—whose fanbase is as large as his Grabby award-winning cock—gets the shaft from Cybersocket. Keep in mind that the ubiquitous Tommy was left off the Best Porn Star list in favor of people who’ve barely done any gay porn in 2014 (Casey Williams, Nick Capra, Race Cooper, Jordano Santoro, Sean Cody’s Joey), or in some cases, people who’ve literally done NO gay porn at all (Seth Fornea)!
Other snubs in the Best Porn Star category that deserve an honorable mention: Connor Maguire, Tyson Tyler, Duncan Black, Ricky Roman, Eli Hunter, Ty Roderick, Shawn Wolfe, Jimmy Fanz, Sean Zevran.
On the bright side, Cybersocket has mercifully left Mike Dozer off the nominations list, and they at least had the good sense to single out ChaosMen’s Shiloh for sucking all those dicks.
