Daniel Nardicio Kicks CockyBoy Chris Harder Out Of Boylesque Festival
Failed Playgirl marketer turned club promoter Daniel Nardicio only seems to make headlines when he’s said or done something outrageously stupid, and this is no exception. Nardicio, who’s now pushing 50, is in the news today for keeping his ex-boyfriend Chris Harder (a CockyBoys porn star) from performing at one of his parties.
Harder explained in an essay published yesterday:
My on camera adventures are apparently just too hard to handle for the producer’s of the Boylesque Festival, and it was made clear to me that I was not welcome on either night’s stripping festivities, despite the fact that I had helped organize year one’s events and that a quarter of year two’s participants had all taken my Boylesque classes.
Then, Nardicio responded in another article by claiming that Harder’s porn career had nothing to do with it. It was because they were ex-boyfriends:
I’m saddened that my ex Chris chose to play this out for publicity. As anyone who knows me and my career can attest, I’ve been more than supportive of the porn community. And I employ and promote sex workers regularly. I’m known as the “king of queer sleaze” in the gay media for Christ sake. I was VP of marketing for Playgirl for 3 years and I hired Chris for a shoot: how could I be anti porn? This is between two guys who were lovers and one needing distance…
“Lovers”? What is this, 1989?
Of course, in news that will come as no surprise, Daniel Nardicio is full of shit. You only have to go back one year to read Nardicio’s interview with Hook Online, in which the aging underwear party promoter revealed his clear anti-porn stance:
I think you can become a low-level celebrity in the gay community for doing something like porn, but I don’t think you are respected. It’s like when you are good looking: people want to be around you, but you didn’t do anything. There isn’t talent there. It isn’t like you learned to play the flute, and you practiced for hours. Being in porn, you are just fucking or getting fucked.
Colton Ford who wants to be singer is always going to be ‘Porn Star Colton Ford’. He says, “I am proud I did porn.” What else is he going to do? Kill himself?

But when you do porn, you are a whore. You are paid to have sex. People will always look at you as a whore.
Whether or not Nardicio was truly still too emotional over his break-up (side note: please grow a pair) to let Harder perform, his opinion of porn and porn stars is obviously what dictated his decision. So, fuck him.
Meanwhile, here’s one of Daniel Nardicio’s latest scams ventures, because I guess he’s finally too old to pass out flyers for his underwear parties. For $600, you can sit in a hot tub and discuss your “dreams” with him, which ironically sounds like a nightmare. Anyone out there pathetic and gullible enough for this?
