Donald Trump Shot In The Head At Pennsylvania Rally
This is a developing story and it’s not clear what or who shot Donald Trump, but he’s clearly bleeding on the side of his head or from his ear while being dragged off the stage at a Pennsylvania rally today. This story is being updated continuously below. Video:

The Trump campaign just issued a statement:
“President Trump thanks law enforcement and first responders for their quick action during this heinous act. He is fine and is being checked out at a local medical facility. More details will follow.”
You of course have to wonder if this was staged, especially given that the shooter apparently missed. Either way, now Trump’s going to use this incident and all the idiotic MAGA sympathy (“he took a bullet for America!”), and he’s definitely going to win in November. No question. You can even hear him in the video at 1:16 telling Secret Service, “Wait, wait, wait!” so he can use the opportunity to raise his fist and rile up the crowd. Quick thinking on his part. The MAGA martyrdom started immediately. Give it a couple hours, and we’ll start to see t-shirts and posters with a bloodied Trump raising his fist in the air while shouting “Fight!”

At least one person was killed at the rally, presumably by the shooter. This video from Fox shows the dead person being dragged out of the bleachers behind Trump:
This deceased person is not believed to be the shooter, who’s reportedly been “neutralized.”
The AP is now reporting that one rally attendee and the shooter are both dead: “A shooter is dead and a rally attendee was killed, the Butler County District attorney tells AP.”
Joe Biden’s campaign has suspended all of his TV ads and issued this statement: “I have been briefed on the shooting at Donald Trump’s rally in Pennsylvania. I’m grateful to hear that he’s safe and doing well. I’m praying for him and his family and for all those who were at the rally, as we await further information. Jill and I are grateful to the Secret Service for getting him to safety. There’s no place for this kind of violence in America. We must unite as one nation to condemn it.”

So, a rally-goer saw the shooter moments before shots were fired, authorities were notified, and nothing was done until after he started firing?

Here’s Trump’s statement just posted to his social media app, confirming that he was shot. Trump says the bullet grazed the top of his right ear:
All those shots were fired, and yet only one bullet barely nicked Trump’s ear? It’s remarkable that the shooter’s aim was that good, but apparently not quite good enough.

More video coming in, and this one was filmed by an audience member out in the crowd in front of Trump. You can clearly see snipers behind Trump, and they appear to be aiming at the assassin on that roof outside of the venue. It’s not clear if they waited for him to fire before they fired back, but this will no doubt be endlessly investigated and questioned. If they can clearly see that a shooter is there, why the hell wasn’t Trump pulled off the stage immediately?! In watching this over and over again, it looks like the sniper may have fired first (note how he recoils back as the first shot goes off), but then the shooter fires multiple rounds back? You can also see Trump’s hand going up at the exact same time as you hear the first shot, so who knows. Maybe both the sniper and the assassin fired simultaneously?
