FamilyDick Issues Statement As Site Remains Under Control Of Hackers: “It’s Been A Hellish Couple Of Days”

As first reported here over the weekend, gay porn studio FamilyDick came under cyberattack late Friday night last week, with the site domain FamilyDick.com being controlled by hackers and redirecting traffic to FamilyDick fauxcest competitor NextDoorTaboo.

The hackers also took over FamilyDick partner studios YoungPerps (with traffic being redirected to competitor GuysInLockup) and LatinLeche (with traffic being redirected to competitor FuckerMate), as well as FamilyDick’s affiliate site for media outlets, ChargedCash (with traffic being redirected to the affiliate site for NextDoorTaboo, BuddyProfits). As a reminder, no one should access or login to FamilyDick/LatinLeche/YoungPerps/ChargedCash, as you risk having the personal and financial information associated with your login exposed to the hackers.

The hack and takeover of the domains is now about to enter its fifth full day, but it’s still unclear why the domain registrar, GoDaddy, has not returned the domains to their legal owners at FamilyDick parent company Charged Media/PaperStreet. And, it’s still unknown who is responsible for the cyberattack, which is a crime punishable by prison time and hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines. A rep for ChargedCash/PaperStreet, Louis Montalvo, provided the below statement to Str8UpGayPorn about the ongoing hack:

As you can imagine its been a hellish couple of days, we’re working very diligently to resolve this mess. There was no other loss other than just our 4 domains, which we still legally own and are expecting to have up sooner than later, it might be a couple more days :/ This is still an ongoing dilemma that’s still unraveling, our entire team worked hard this weekend to limit the damage and patch up what we [could] ASAP. […] There was no breach or any information stolen, just malicious redirects out of our control. We weren’t completely ready to release SayUncle to partners, we have a killer new tour in its final stages for the official big release, which will still happen along with a new site we’re super excited about.

SayUncle is the megasite network offering access to all the Charged Media studios, and it does appear to be working normally as of post time.

Str8UpGayPorn has reached out to hosting company GoDaddy to inquire why it’s taking so long to return the domains to Charged Media, but they were unable to give me any information since I’m obviously not the owner of the domains.

This is a developing story…
