Gay Porn News Round-Up: Rhyheim Tops 1M, Chi Chi Back To Falcon, Santoro Back To U.S., A Very White “Last Course,” And More
What have your favorite gay porn stars and gay porn studios been up to this week? Here’s a round-up of headlines, newsmakers, unfortunate returns, new movies, and more:
—Rhyheim Shabazz Tops 1 Million
Rhyheim Shabazz made history this week by becoming the first male performer to have over one million followers on Twitter. While a handful of female stars (Riley Reid, Bree Olson, Nicolette Shea) have crossed the 1M mark, no other male star from any adult entertainment genre (gay, straight, etc.) has ever reached this milestone.
—Chi Chi LaRue Returns To Falcon
Despite being fired from his previous role as lead director at Noir Male after admitting to being drunk and sexually harassing a model during production of a movie, Chi Chi LaRue has been welcomed back to the industry to direct a movie for Falcon Studios. Production wrapped in May, but before it did, Str8Up reached out to Falcon and asked if the studio had any concerns about a repeat incident from LaRue, and what (if anything) the studio was doing to ensure their models were protected. The studio declined to comment on LaRue, and instead issued a generic statement about workplace safety policies, writing, “Falcon|NakedSword value and respect each performer and always seek to uphold the highest workplace conduct standards. All performers, crew and directorial staff are expected to adhere to and comply with strict on-set guidelines and protocols that are in place to assure a safe physical and behavioral environment.”
—Kyle Wincrest Signs NextDoor Exclusive Contract
Former ChaosMen model Kyle Wyncrest is now exclusive at NextDoorStudios. Upon the signing, studio director Walden Woods said of Kyle, “The second I saw him perform I knew he would be the perfect fit for this team and really grow as a model. He really is a sweetheart and is super-handsome.” Coincidentally, NextDoor parent company Gamma recently purchased ChaosMen, where Kyle performed regularly for the last several years.
—Billy Santoro Threatens Return To The States
Fake suicide ghoul and proud racist Billy Santoro was evicted from his Australian apartment last year after producing meth-slamming porn videos in the unit with his partner, Gage Santoro, and now it appears the disgraced and blacklisted clown could be headed back to the United States after being dumped by his equally sick and bigoted partner. That’s a tweet from Santoro above, along with a photo of alleged text messages sent from the “husband” to Santoro, but given all the deranged lies they’ve told, who knows if the break-up or the return to the states is true. If them staying together means Santoro stays out of the U.S., I guess I’m actually hoping they can patch things up? We already have enough racist psychos in this country.
—Nearly All-White “Last Course”
A new studio called Disruptive Films has wrapped production on their first upcoming feature, and it’s called “The Last Course.” The film premiere will coincide with the studio’s launch in September, and the cast consists of 10 models (as seen above): Brandon Anderson, Michael Boston, Michael DelRay, Jim Fit, Johnny Ford, Chris Damned, Lance Hart, Dakota Payne, Dante Colle, and Cameron Dalile. That’s an incredible cast of men, all of whom are extremely popular performers who do great work. But, while Jim Fit is half Asian, the other nine performers are all white, so it’s even more incredible that a new studio and its executive producer/director, Bree Mills, could be so oblivious to not cast a single Black or Latin performer in a movie with ten different characters. This is the big budget production they’re using to hype the launch of the studio? In 2021? Disruptive Films’ “The Last Course” was co-produced with NextDoor, who pledged last year to “increase diversity in recruiting and casting to build greater representation in our industry.” Yikes…
