Jarec Wentworth’s Motion For Acquittal Denied
This couldn’t have surprised him, but it still must be a major disappointment for Jarec Wentworth. Judge John Walter has just ruled on Wentworth’s motion for a judgment of acquittal following his conviction on multiple extortion charges last month, and as predicted, he’s denied the motion.
With no further motions pending (other than the government’s motion to appeal that dismissed gun charge, which, if granted, would be disastrous for Wentworth), the former gay porn star is not expected to be in court again until his sentencing date, October 26th. Wentworth faces up to nine years in prison after attempting to extort over $1.5 million from Republican multimillionaire Donald Burns.
