JJ Knight On His Engagement To Brent Corrigan: “From That First Kiss, I Knew He Was The Man Of My Dreams”
JJ Knight recently shared the great news that he and boyfriend Brent Corrigan had recently become engaged, posting the above photo to his Instagram and writing:
It’s true we don’t have it as easy as ordinary couples, but I can promise you that this is no ordinary love! He is the man of my dreams, and I am proud to call him my fiancé!
News that Brent and JJ were dating broke late last year, and in addition to their obvious combined hotness, the best part about this powercouple is that their love is the real deal.
While the photo and news of the engagement was made public this week, JJ Knight tells Str8UpGayPorn that the engagement actually happened several months ago, and JJ popped the question when the couple was in Australia.
“I asked him in February, in Sydney,” JJ reveals. “Brent was a bit hesitant at first, considering it’s my first long term relationship, and he has been through a couple that haven’t ended so well. But from that first kiss on set, I just knew that this is the man of my dreams.”
That first kiss was in Falcon’s “About Last Night,” where Brent and JJ performed together for the first time. (They have another duo coming later this summer, via NakedSword.)
As far as deciding on a wedding date, that’s in the works.
“We have discussed dates, but nothing is confirmed yet,” JJ says. “Right now we’re just happy together, and excited to see the future we can build together, in and out of the industry.”
While JJ Knight and Brent Corrigan have officially been dating for the last year, one fun fact most of us never knew is that they actually met nearly three years ago, in China.
“In October of 2014, I was working in Beijing as a store manager for Abercrombie, and Brent was appearing at a club called Funky out there,” JJ explains. “And, of course, I was a fan so I had to go meet him. We just had a 20-minute conversation between his dancing sets, and then, three years later we had our scene together.”
