Madonna Found “Unresponsive,” Rushed To ICU And Intubated
Thank god Madonna is now recovering in a hospital, because if her last song released before dying was that Sam Smith horror show, her legacy would be forever stained. Via NY Post:
Madonna was found unresponsive and rushed to a New York City hospital Saturday, Page Six can exclusively reveal.
We hear the “Material Girl” singer, 64, was intubated for at least one night before having the tube removed — and she is now alert and recovering.
We’re also told that her daughter Lourdes Leon was by her side throughout the ordeal.

While the ICU stay is over, Madonna is reportedly still hospitalized.
Her longtime manager Guy Oseary posted the below message to Instagram revealing that the ICU stay was triggered by a “serious bacterial infection”:
It’s not clear how or why she developed the infection, but COVID has of course ravaged people’s immune systems, and everyone who contracts the virus (even a “mild” case) is susceptible to long term health problems and opportunistic infections.
Given the quality of her recent performances, her appearances at events, and her cringe-inducing social media posts, I’ve suspected all along that Madonna’s upcoming tour would be canceled. She’s just not up for it, and this health crisis proves it. The nearly 100-show world tour is supposedly postponed as of now, but it will undoubtedly be fully canceled in the coming weeks and will never happen.
Madonna is among the greatest and most influential artists of the last 40 years, and I hope she can take this time to truly relax and fully recover. I would love to see her again in a small venue tour that doesn’t put such a strain on her body. As noted before, 2019’s Madame X show was probably the greatest concert I’ve ever seen in my life.

It’s surreal to hear local news outlets discussing her like this, but here’s a Fox 11 L.A. report from this afternoon:
