NakedSword Releases Slutty Professor Scene With Recently Deceased Gay Porn Star Dave Slick
NakedSword’s big summer movie, The Slutty Professor, premiered back on June 7th, with the first scene starring Danny Montero and JJ Knight. One of the movie’s stars, Dave Slick, was tragically found dead in Chicago just one day later, on June 8th. Autopsy results from the medical examiner’s office in Chicago are still pending, while police announced that syringes were found in the bathroom where they discovered Slick’s body.
The release of Slutty Professor (a plot-driven feature that consists of four scenes, with one being released every week) had already started prior to Slick’s death, and NakedSword has opted to continue as scheduled, with Slick’s scene coming out tomorrow.
If a performer who passes away has unreleased scenes, the studio(s) has to decide when and how they’ll release his scenes, and with this movie already in the process of being released (and Slick’s scene being the movie’s penultimate scene), NakedSword was clearly in a tough spot. I think they made the right call by going ahead and releasing it, as not releasing it might’ve been even more awkward (they’d have to explain to their customers the reasons why, and then they’d have to make an announcement about when the scene would eventually be released, which would put them in the impossible position of determining what should be the appropriate amount of time to wait, etc.). For fans who want to watch the scene, they’re free to watch. For fans who are in mourning, they obviously do not have to watch.
This is Falcon Studio Group’s (the parent company of NakedSword) very first scene featuring Dave Slick, and it’s Slick’s first gay porn scene released (he had previously appeared in live webcam shows). Slick signed with FSG as an exclusive model back in February, and he filmed several scenes with the company’s various studios before he died. Those scenes will be released in the coming weeks and months.
