Why Did NextDoorBuddies Stop Shooting Bareback Gay Porn?

After almost 10 years operating as a staunch “condom-only” studio, NextDoorBuddies jumped on the bareback bandwagon in October, 2013 with a raw three-way entitled “Suck.” And just for fun, the studio’s first bareback scene made a point to include some subtle condom shaming when the bareback bottom tossed a condom aside and proclaimed, “Nah, I want you guys raw.”

Since last July, NextDoorBuddies has reverted back to condom-only scenes (although, their sister site NextDoorTwink released a few bareback scenes sporadically) with condom-only gay porn stars like Connor Maguire, Colt Rivers, Luke Milan, and others. The most recent condom scene is a fourgy with Jaxon Colt, Ashton Webber, Arad, and Owen Michaels.
Every other gay porn studio that ditched condoms in recent years went full steam ahead without looking back, but NextDoorBuddies’ bareback experiment lasted just nine months before ending with no explanation. Why? And what happened to all their bareback gay porn stars?
