NextDoorStudios Seeks New Director As Cameron Dalile Enters Drug Rehab After Relapsing

cameron-dalile-gay-pornGay porn star Cameron Dalile has been open about his struggles with drug addiction for as long as he’s been in the public eye and a director for NextDoorStudios over the last two years. Here was Dalile back in 2017 talking about his meth addiction, shortly after he started working with NextDoor:

While his openness about his sobriety has been an inspiration for many, Dalile unfortunately suffered a setback recently and relapsed, which he announced to his Twitter followers yesterday:

cameDalile will hopefully return to NextDoor when the time is right for him. Many of his friends had words of encouragement and support for the young star:

With Dalile now in rehab, NextDoorStudios is in need of some help. The studio took to Twitter today to announce that they’re “growing,” and they’re looking for a freelance director:

With multiple gay porn scenes released every week, Dalile has been busy at NextDoor this year. Here are two scenes being released today and tomorrow, the first of which is a three-way starring Justin Matthews, Carter Woods, and Chris Blades:

2019 is definitely the summer of three-ways, because the NextDoor scene coming tomorrow also has three gay porn stars: Dante Colle, Ryan Jordan, and Jackson Cooper. (Is it me, or is Dante Colle looking even hotter than usual lately? Maybe it’s the longer hair?)

Tucker Scott) at the studio’s new San Diego location. Trailer (watch full scene here):

There are so many situations and people within this industry that can trigger a relapse. It’s good he was able to recognize he needed help before things got too out of control.

At least they’re not relying on Rocco to pick up the slack (because, given the allegations, he doesn’t need the added stress while directing). But if they need a freelancer, I’m sure Ryan Gordon is available. And he comes with credentials. https://media0.giphy.com/media/4BvHSffsBtRJu/giphy.gif

Thats a good choice, but I might suggest someone even a little edgier, someone who could bring a different perspective to the studio, Kristofer Weston perhaps.

      • Scrapple

Wait, I know of Kristofer by name but not familiar with his skillz, so I can’t tell if you’re being shady or not. I most definitely was being a bitch when I suggested RG.

        • Ulf Raynor

He did work for Colt/Buckshot back in the day and he directed for Bound Jocks.
Lots of experience in fetish and kink
Not saying NDS should switch to a kinkier style, but he would definitely bring a different perspective to their overly humdrum, cookie cutter format they have now.
If nothing else maybe try to lure Jeff McCubbin (Evil Jeff) formerly of Randy Blue, who is now working on UNHhhh over at World of Wonder.

          • Scrapple

I thought I heard something about Evil Jeff doing some WoW stuffs. I haven’t thought about him in ages. Now you have me wondering what Ian is up to. I know he was directing for a while but I forget where. His voice still does things to me. I used to love when he would pop up in a vid. Especially that one where he was the pervy maintenance guy jerking it while watching some hot elevator sex. Good times.

        • Default_User

He is an experienced kink performer and director. Partner of Pup Amp (Watts Your Safeword YouTube channel, its kinda fun).

          • Scrapple

I know I’ve seen a few of his vids, but I think he was only performing. But I’ve probably seen his directing work too without realizing it. Kink is my jam. Which is why I hate when studios attempt it half ass. Like when Cocky Boys was getting into rope play? I could not.

Hopefully he gets the help the he needs btw does anyone know if Spencer Laval is leaving nds? I just saw his video from AD and it sounded like he was saying goodbye from porn at the end of video I hope he doesn’t leave us he has been a good addition to porn!

    • joeguy45

yes he has left or at least is taking a hiatus. He actually said in that video you are talking about that he aims to make more great videos for his fans. However he’s not been around NDS for a while so i asked and i got 2 different stories . he’s up again on Sat with Johnny B NDS

  • DoMitoJo

dante colle seems like a super cool guy to chill with!

    • Kanaka

I agree. And he gets a lot of shit because he’s sexually fluid.

  • sxg

Did he still perform in front of a camera before relapsing? He is way too hot to not be featured in scenes!

    • Ninja0980

He did cam shows with his ex.

  • Jay

I can’t tell a Rocco Fallon scene from a Cameron Dalile scene. Can someone who has a more critical eye point out some more common themes present in each Director’s works?

    • Scrapple

Cameron’s scenes usually roasted more in the comment section. I want to say his scenes rarely feature rimming.

  • Hotpocket_cub

    Who?

    • Devin

      Lol

  • CamCam

Here’s hoping and praying Cameron gets all the help that he needs and comes back refreshed & better than ever. I like his work in front of and behind the camera so I look forward to him returning when the time is right.

Wonder if this issue with Cameron was a contributing factor in Markie More becoming fed up with the porn business. There’s way more to the story than Markie “getting religion” and quitting the business. Tucker Scott’s alleged abuse is just one factor. Perhaps drug use is more rampant at NDS than widely known and Cameron isn’t the only user.

NDS has become overly formulaic lately and the parings (IMO) uninspired and boring. Viewer commentary has been scathing at times especially regarding scenes directed by Cameron. I canceled my membership after Markie left. Tried to give them a chance but the value just wasn’t there for me. Perhaps it’s time to replace the entire creative team.

    • joeguy45

I do wonder if Drugs are an issue there.. i know of 2 performers and now Cameron who have had addiction gone and it would appear they all have fell in to relapse,. but there again, and i speak from Experience of working in drug rehabilitation therapy , .. getting into the porn business is probably not the best place for a recovering addict…

    • Being Cameron describes his relapse as “very quick but intense” and he checked himself into rehab right after it occured I don’t see how he could have been using and then that being a factor in Markie Moore finding god and turning his back on the porn industry. More likely the truth is Markie Moore was never that into doing gay porn as evidenced by his lack of enthusiasm in his scenes but he continued to do gay porn because he needed the money. But now free from needing to continue doing gay porn he can be honest about how he feels about porn.

If someone is trying to stay sober from meth, maybe the porn industry isn’t the best place for him.

    • Not all porn actors or porn sets have meth use. Drug use is found in any industry.

  • Relapse is common for meth addicts so he does not need to apologize. I am glad he had the sense to realize he could not go it on his own and checked himself back into rehab.

    • Sean

This is a ridiculous statement. YES apologizing IS part of recovery if he is using the antiquated 12 step method of rehab. It is called MAKING AMENDS. The fact is, 12 steps are a major failure.
It is common for ANY addict to relapse because whatever program they used didn’t address the underlying reason they use. The 12 step model is predicated on HUMAN BEINGS being powerless. Quite frankly it also let;’s them off the hook for the carnage they cause. I reject that concept.
