Quote Of The Day: “I Don’t Like Twinks…Especially Older Twinks”—Ricky Larkin
When it comes to offending an entire demographic and alienating members of his own fan base (or whatever was left of it), Ricky Larkin is nothing if not consistent. During a discussion on diversity in gay porn three months ago, Larkin told his followers that “there are just not that many good looking black guys in porn” (which caused significant backlash, and a failed attempt by Larkin to walk back the absurd statement by insulting his critics). And yesterday (at 5:42 in the morning), Larkin managed to insult another group of people when he tweeted, “I don’t like twinks. I especially don’t [like] older twinks. Man up bro, you’re older than me”:
By announcing a “preference” based on body type, age, and antiquated gender roles (apparently, feminine twinks who are older than Larkin should be more masculine than him?), Larkin managed to be ageist, misogynistic, homophobic, and just plain dumb all at once. In other words, another typical day in the life of Ricky Larkin.
It’s one thing to be attracted to certain personality types or to identify certain physical characteristics that you like about someone, but to broadcast your preferred traits in a way that specifically demeans and insults the people who don’t have those traits? What’s the point? What are you trying to prove? What an idiot.
For his part, Larkin seems to be enjoying all the criticism he’s received, as he retweeted himself and wrote, “All the twinks BIG mad,” along with a crying laughing face emoji:
While Larkin spent the weekend insulting old and feminine twinks, he also shared that he’s been out and about at various pride events in Las Vegas (yep, despite the pandemic, several Las Vegas gay bars were open and having mass gatherings with no social distancing), and he posted this image of himself with Beaux Banks:
While Beaux Banks has a mask with him (albeit pulled down under his chin for the photo), Larkin wasn’t wearing one in the photo above, or in the photo below:
Despite his distaste for twinks (and apparently masks) in real life, at least Larkin has been able to perform with them in scenes. Here was Larkin being fucked by then twink Johnny Rapid (this was back in 2016):
