Sean Cody Deletes Scenes Featuring Model With Confederate Flag Tattoo
He had one solo scene released on June 10th and one duo scene released just two days ago, but today, the model with the Confederate Flag tattoo has had both of his scenes deleted from Sean Cody. The page on which Zane’s solo scene used to exist now looks like this:
And, here’s the page where Zane’s duo scene (with Jax) used to be:
Sean Cody sent this message out to its affiliates yesterday afternoon, before the site was scrubbed of both the Confederate Flag scenes:
Hello everyone! So just to let you know the scene today for Sean Cody we are not releasing due to the fact of a certain tattoo on one of the actors. So if you don’t see the Sean Cody scene, please don’t be alarmed, there is a reason its missing.
Again, that message was received after Zane’s duo scene had already been released, and the scene remained on the site another full day, until being removed this afternoon. Better late than never, I guess.
The studio’s failed attempt at blurring the racist symbol in post-production (while mistakenly releasing an uncensored trailer on Twitter) was as blatantly offensive as it was remarkably stupid, and while this model never should have been filmed in the first place, at least the studio did the right thing now—albeit two weeks late—by deleting his scenes. In the future, here’s a tip for Sean Cody and any other studio that doesn’t want to be connected to racists: Don’t hire people with racist symbols painted on their body to perform in your gay porn scenes.
