Third Time’s The Charm? Collin Simpson Announces Gay Porn Retirement (Again)
For at least the third time since 2019, gay-for-pay porn star Collin Simpson has announced his retirement from gay porn.
As Str8Up reported exclusively last month, Simpson was arrested in March for violating a restraining order related to a domestic issue in Spokane, Washington, and he served nearly two months in jail while he was unable to pay the $1,500 bond. Simpson was finally released from custody earlier this week, and today, he’s taken to Twitter to tell his fans that he’ll no longer be making gay adult movies.
As you’ll recall, Simpson’s first retirement from gay porn was back in 2019, when he alleged that the first studio he filmed with, GayHoopla, refused to continue working with him due to Simpson’s drug addiction. Around that same time, Simpson was banned from performing on Chaturbate after appearing to overdose on drugs during a live show.
While Simpson didn’t return to GayHoopla, he did continue performing at other studios, so his first retirement never came to fruition.
Two years later, in 2021, Simpson announced his retirement for the second time after his then girlfriend suffered a miscarriage. But, like retirement #1, retirement #2 was similarly shortlived, and Simpson continued working in gay porn up until his arrest this year.
With retirement #3 now on the books, Simpson explained that the gay porn industry has had a negative effect on his mental health, and here was his full retirement thread:
While Simpson claims his work as a gay-for-pay porn star has caused severe depression, incarceration, stress, infidelity, and multiple life-threatening drug overdoses, he is still accepting financial help from cash fags:
