Video Shows Group Of California Men Saving Woman From Being Raped By Naked Man In Broad Daylight
It’s hard to tell in the brief video, but you can see the victim (under the arrow in the screencap above) being dragged away from the naked man. Via Long Beach Post:
A video circulating on social media shows a naked man being attacked by several people after witnesses say he tried to rape a woman outside of a Cherry Avenue liquor store. Police say the man was taken into custody after the incident and was being held for a mental evaluation.
The incident occurred around 8:53 a.m. Wednesday in the 1400 block of Cherry Avenue, according to Long Beach Police Department spokesperson Richard Mejia. When officers arrived, they found a man involved in a fight with an unknown number of individuals, Mejia said.
The footage appears to have been first uploaded as a story on an Instagram account Wednesday morning before quickly spreading. It shows at least seven people fighting the naked man in an attempt to get him off of an individual who was lying on their back across a sidewalk.

Naked men are attempting to commit rape in the middle of the street in broad daylight?
I lived in Long Beach for years, and while Cherry Ave. can get sketchy the further north you go, this was in an OK area near PCH and down the street from my Del Taco (I map things based on their proximity to Del Taco), and I don’t remember it ever being this bad. Welcome to 2022.
