Mike Dozer Sentenced To Eight More Years In Prison, Tells Judge: “Porn Led To My Demise”
Last month, former gay porn star Mike Dozer—whose legal name is Christopher Steele—was sentenced in federal court to 17 years and six months in prison after being convicted on multiple charges stemming from his rape of a 14-year-old boy in Pennsylvania. Today, Steele was sentenced in state court—where he was convicted of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child less than 16 and of recklessly endangering another person (Steele is HIV-positive)—to eight to 16 more years in prison.

I would suggest the display of unusual cruelty in this case is very significant and is outrageous, frankly,” Montgomery County Judge Thomas P. Rogers said Thursday as he considered the punishment for Christopher Steele, also known as adult entertainment performer Mike Dozer. “It was so reckless, so outrageous … that it goes beyond all bounds of human decency.”
“Reckless, selfish, lacking empathy, and dangerous, these are the words that describe this defendant. This defendant took advantage of this child, took advantage of his age and took advantage of his vulnerability,” argued Assistant District Attorney Sophia Polites, who sought a lengthy prison term against Steele. “He engaged in some of the most egregious and heinous behaviors. He is deceitful. Simply put, he is a dangerous individual.”
With the reckless endangerment charge, detectives alleged Steele had sexual contact with the underage boy and “never told him he was HIV positive nor did he tell him of any other sexually transmitted diseases he may have,” according to a criminal complaint.
According to attorneys for the victim’s family, the 14-year-old boy was eventually found to be HIV-negative.
Dozer/Steele tried to use his brief time in the industry as an excuse for his crimes, telling the court that his adult film career ultimately led to his “demise.”
Steele implied one of his poor choices was getting involved in the adult entertainment industry.
“Once I took that turn, my life went downhill. That led to my demise,” Steele told the judge.
The judge said Steele’s comments were all about himself and supported presentence evaluations that characterized Steele as being narcissistic, having a sense of entitlement and a grandiose attitude.
Dr. Jennifer Hahn, a member of the Pennsylvania Sexual Offender Assessment Board, testified Steele exhibited anti-social and narcissistic personality disorders and met the legal criteria to be classified as a sexually violent predator under the state’s Sexual Offender Registration and Notification Act. The judge agreed.
As previously reported exclusively by Str8UpGayPorn, Steele was arrested in Delaware in 2013 after raping a 14-year-old boy in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, which resulted in both state and federal charges. In October of 2014, a federal jury found Steele guilty of three felonies (use of interstate commerce to entice a minor to engage in sexual conduct; interstate travel with intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor; receipt of child pornography).
Since Steele’s two sentences were ordered to be served consecutively, that means he’ll serve them back to back—first the 17 years (federal), and then the eight to 16 years (state), for a total of at least 25 years in prison.
